Thanks for visiting Healthy Peanut! I am new to the online blogging world, but I have been a food blogger for years. I am always taking pictures of my meals and sending them to friends and family. I love cooking, especially colorful and healthful foods.

Faith, family, friends, cooking and running are the things that bring the most joy to my life! Some other things that I enjoy are sewing, reading, and traveling!

Some of my favorite foods: Greek yogurt, sweet potatoes, and sunflower seed butter πŸ™‚

Foods that I don’t like: Not many. I like nutritious foods so I naturally stray away from those that are unhealthy and overly processed…but that does not mean that I don’t enjoy them! I also am not a huge fan of meat. Not a vegetarian, however I rarely eat it.

I really enjoy the challenge of eating balanced and grocery shopping is one of my favorite stress relievers (easier when only shopping for myself)! I love reading labels, Β and dreaming up fun recipes for new ingredients. Trader Joe’s is my absolute favorite!

I am finishing up my masters of public health in health promotion and behavior at the University of Georgia, and I went to Auburn University for undergrad (War Eagle!)

Currently I am training for the Disney Marathon in January 2011, and the Paris Marathon in April 2011!!
